New Starter Info

Before attending your first session
Before attending a session you need to make sure that you've completed a registration form. You will be provided with a registration link when contacting the club. This includes emergency contact details and other important information. Anyone that has not completed a registration form will not be allowed to train during the session.
Getting to Millthorpe
When using the address for Millthorpe School in navigation apps, it will take you to the front entrance of the school. As the Gymnasium is located at the back of the school we would instead recommend coming in via the entrance off Philadelphia Terrace where we are the first building on the left.
Attending Sessions
You should aim to arrive 5 minutes early to your session, giving enough time to get changed and ready for training. Athletes should bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated and wear appropriate clothing for exercise. Some examples include: close-fitting shirt and leggings, sports bra and shorts. During colder weather athletes should arrive with layers that can be removed as they get war
For cheerleading sessions and competitions athletes need to wear indoor-only trainers, ideally cheerleading specific. For competitions these should be white but there is no colour-restriction for training.
Attendance
Keeping the club informed of any absences allows us to plan sessions better and means we do not waste time waiting for late arrivals. A parent or guardian should get in contact with us before the session to let us know of any unplanned absences and any pre-planned absences need to be authorised by the coaching team.
Examples of AUTHORISED absences: Family Bereavement, Public Health Exclusion Illness (e.g Diarrhoea and Vomiting), GCSE/A-Level Course Requirements
Example of UNAUTHORISED absences: Grounding from a parent, Homework, Birthdays / Parties, Recreational Sports, Holidays
Our competitive teams have a stricter attendance policy. All athletes are expected to attend every sessions through the season apart from our during our breaks at Christmas, Easter and Summer. We will be monitoring attendance through the season and 3 unauthorised absences will lead to a formal warning. Following a formal warning, athletes will first have their involvement in the routine reduced and further issues will lead to removal from the team. No absences will be authorised in the 3 weeks leading up to competition and any missing sessions in that period will result in a reduced involvement in the routine.
Payments
All training fees are set up on Direct Debit through our registration system, LoveAdmin. Some sessions may also be offered on PAYG (Pay As You Go) and those classes should be paid in cash when arriving. Your initial session will be a free trial and then after confirming your place, a Direct Debit will be set up.
